Shaun “Bless” Owens is the Co-CEO, at Souldiggaz Entertainment and Whutsgood media with responsibility for music production, artist development research and marketing, worldwide operations, corporate resources, global and national.
Prior to bringing both companies to rising success Souldiggaz Ent., and Whutsgood media, Shaun bless as a young producer, graphic artist and recording artist worked hard travelling from label to label city to city in search of opportunity. Not only producing, but project managing for recording artists, from mega star Beyonce to Sean “Diddy” Combs and many more.
Growing up in Newark, NJ, at the age of 10, Shaun Bless always knew what he wanted and with an incredible musical ear, he would always be working with his God given talents by indulging himself in music whether it was creating beats, rapping, or writing songs. He is a fast learner, a perfectionist and everything he put his hands to flourish. Many recognized this young man for his talent and creativity and gave him the name “Bless”.
This shows in his endeavors as an aspiring music video director, he has directed and shot full length videos for Missy Elliot’s new artist Sharaya, SRC/Universal recording artist Corte Ellis and others. Shaun aspires to be a music video/film director on bigger projects one day. His passion for being behind the camera has fueled his interest to be in front of the camera.
Some of Shaun’s major influences are Sean “Diddy” Combs, 50 cent, Wyclef, fellow New Jersey native Queen Latifah and Missy Elliot whom he was signed to in the 2003. His musical influences goes back to Marvin Gaye and Isaac Hayes. He enjoys hip-hop and electro euro music and it shows in the music that he makes as an artist. Shaun plans to push his creativity to the max through many things above and beyond.
